Testers Guild Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Testers Guild is a community for developers and testers to help each other with closed testing. We want the service to be useful without treating personal information as something to collect unnecessarily.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Testers Guild, we may collect or store:

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

3. Information You Choose to Make Available

Information you submit as part of an app listing, profile, review, testing activity, or conversation may be visible to other Testers Guild users or participants where needed to operate that feature.

Please do not include passwords, payment card information, government identification numbers, or other sensitive personal information in app listings, messages, reviews, testing notes, or screenshots.

4. Testing Proof Screenshots

Daily testing screenshots are uploaded to Supabase Storage so they can be used as evidence of testing activity and reviewed as part of the relevant testing commitment.

The current Testers Guild implementation uses a public storage bucket for these proof files. This means that a person who obtains the direct file URL may be able to access the file. We therefore strongly recommend that users avoid including sensitive or private information in testing screenshots.

5. Firebase

Testers Guild uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, to authenticate users and store account, listing, testing, review, message, and related application data.

Firebase may process information as part of providing these services. Information stored through Firebase is subject to Google's applicable service terms and privacy practices.

6. Supabase

Testers Guild uses Supabase Storage to store daily testing proof screenshots. The files are associated with testing activity so that the relevant proof can be displayed and reviewed.

7. Google Play Billing

Testers Guild offers optional paid boosts through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles the payment transaction. Testers Guild receives purchase information needed to determine whether a purchase is valid and to provide the purchased boost.

Testers Guild does not receive or store your Google Play payment card number through the app's billing flow.

8. Advertising

Testers Guild uses Google Mobile Ads for rewarded advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share information such as IP address, product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes, subject to Google's SDK behavior and applicable settings.

Advertising and privacy choices may also depend on your device settings, your location, and Google's applicable consent mechanisms.

9. Data Storage and Security

We use third-party infrastructure providers to operate Testers Guild. Data transmitted to these services is handled using the security mechanisms provided by those services. We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, or misuse.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate Testers Guild, maintain testing records, provide requested features, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal or operational requirements.

11. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Testers Guild account and associated personal information by contacting us at [wortstudio.dev@gmail.com].

Some information may need to be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or other legitimate operational purposes. We will explain any applicable retention when responding to a deletion request.

Release requirement: before publishing this app on Google Play, Testers Guild should provide a clear in-app account deletion path and a public web-based deletion request path that satisfy Google Play's current account-deletion requirements.

12. Children's Privacy

Testers Guild is not intended for children under the minimum age required to use the service in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Testers Guild's features, services, or data practices change. The updated policy will be published at this location with a new “Last updated” date.

14. Contact
